Stephen C. McCaffrey J.D.
President and CEO
Steve earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his Doctor
of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis, and
has been with MHAI since 1991. He is a recipient of the Webster-Kipfer Award
for special achievement in public policy advocacy, a former Vice Chairman for
Public Affairs and member of the Board of Directors of the National Mental
Health Association, and former Board Member of the American Society of Mental
Health Association Professionals. He has been named to the National Directory
of "Who's Who in Executives and Professionals" and by the Indiana Business
Journal as a member of "Who's Who in Indiana Health Care." Steve has received
gubernatorial appointments to the Indiana Mental Health Commission and the
Medicaid Quality Advisory Committee. He currently serves as Chair of the Division
of Mental Health and Addiction Advisory Committee.

Marjorie Mansfield
Executive Vice President and COO
Marjorie has extensive experience in the areas of industry specific job skills
training programs, job search programs, employer marketing strategies, youth
programs and customer satisfaction. She serves as Secretary on the Board of
Indiana Rehabilitation Associates and serves on the Training and Professional
Development Committee of IN-ARF.

Tiffany
Peek
Executive Assistant to the President
Tiffany graduated from Franklin College with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/
Psychology. She has been employed with MHAI since 2002. Tiffany was the Lead
Employment Consultant for the Community Connections program prior to becoming
Executive Assistant to the President. She also serves as the liaison to the
Indiana Association for Infant and Toddler Mental Health as well as the liaison
to the Mental Health and Aging Coalition.

Health Ombudsman Program
The Mental Health Ombudsman is a statewide network of mental health professionals
mandated by the Indiana General Assembly to advocate for the rights of persons
with mental illness, chemical addictions, and their families.

Cherly McNutt
Director, Public Health and Assistance Ombudsman Program
MHAI has been selected by FSSA/Division of Family Resources to serve as the Public Health and Assistance Obudsman in response to the Eligibility Modernization of Medicaid, TANf (Temporary Assistance to Need Families), and Food Stamps. MHAI will utilize our statewide network of chapters to respond to recipients of these services who are experiencing difficulty accessing services. As director, Cheryl brings over 10 yeras of experience with public assistance programs and case management. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University.

Kristian Griffin
Director, Affiliate Relations and Reintegration Services
Kris brings to MHAI fourteen years clinical experience in the field of psychology. She has worked with both adult and adolescent psychiatric patients in an acute in-patient setting, and served as supervisor at a substance-abuse clinic in Indianapolis. She is currently working with all local chapters to maintain MHAI as a strong organization within Indiana, and also works with Eli Lilly on their reintegration project. Kris earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the Purdue School of Science in Indianapolis, IN.

Lisa Hutcheson, MEd
Director,
Indiana Coalition to Reduce Underage Drinking
Lisa Hutcheson has been the director of the Indiana Coalition to Reduce Underage
Drinking since its inception in 1997. Advocating for stronger local and state policies and laws, the coalition is reducing youth access to alcohol. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Master of Education degree in counseling but enjoys and learns daily from her work in public health. She is also the liaison to the Childhood Mental Health Committee.

Director, Fincancial Operations
Bill obtained a Masters of Accounting Science from University of Illinois at
Champagne-Urbana, as well as a Masters of Journalism from Indiana University.
He serves as Vice-president of the St. Thomas Aquinas Conference of St. Vincent
DePaul.

Jill Vandegriff
Director, Public Relations
Jill joined MHAI as Director of Public Relations in November, 2001. She is responsible
for crafting, communicating and disseminating information about MHAI and its
subsidiaries to the media and the public. She also serves as MHAI's representative
for a variety of community relations activities. Jill graduated from Butler University
and has worked with a number of not for profit organziations throughout her career.

Amanda Bolbecker PHD
Director, Clinical Research and Public Policy
Mandi received both a Master's and PhD from Purdue University in Psychobiology, a branch of neuroscience. Prior to that, she spent 2 years in graduate school training in clinical psychology. After receiving her PhD, Mandi continued her academic research career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Clinical Sciences area of the Psychological and Brain Sciences Department at Indiana University, where she investigated possible underlying causes of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Mandi began as the Director of Clinical Research and Policy at MHAI in January of 2007. She also serves as the Director of the Indiana Psychological association. The recipient of a 2007 National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD) grant, she continues her research as an Associate Research Scientist at Indiana University.

Beth A. Karnes, CPA, CFRM
President and CDO
Beth earned her undergraduate degree at Indiana University, Indianapolis campus,
and has been with the corporation since 1988. She has been named to the National
Directory of "Who's Who in Executives and Professionals" and by the Indiana
Business Journal as a member of "Who's Who in Indiana Health Care." She is
a member of the Indiana CPA Society, the AICPA, the Governmental Affairs Society
in Indiana and is an appointed member to the National Mental Health Association
Public Relations, Fund Development and Administration Committees. She is also
a former Board Member of the Indiana Coalition of Human Services and was appointed
to the benefit subcommittee of the Governor appointed task force on the Children's
Health Insurance Program in Indiana. In addition to being a Certified Public
Accountant, Beth is also a Certified Fund Raising Manager.

Thomas F. Lux, Jr., M.S.
Director of Development
Tom received his Masters Degree in Corrections from Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH) in 1978 and has spent much of his career as an addictions counselor. In the summer of 2002 Tom began specialized fundraising coursework at the I.U. Center on Philanthropy and has been working as a development professional since that time. Tom joined the Mental Health America team in December 2006 and welcomes the opportunity to expand the financial support of this vital organization.

Indiana Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, Inc.
The Mental Health Ombudsman is a statewide network of mental health professionals
mandated by the Indiana General Assembly to advocate for the rights of persons
with mental illness, chemical addictions, and their families. Troy has been
an advocate for mental health issues since the late 1980's. He has worked for
the Indiana Departments of Correction, and Mental Health. As a licensed Mental
Health Counselor, Troy has worked with Adult Male Felons, and Juvenile Delinquents,
as well as the chronically mental ill. As an attorney, Troy has chosen to focus
on the issues that affect persons with mental illness and addictions.
