Crisis Peer Training
The Certified Crisis Peer training is a 40-hour training that supports the development/honing of skills focused on the following areas: 1) Peer relationships in crisis services, 2) cooling the crisis, 3) peer practice improvement: debriefing and supervision, 4) crisis peer support and teamwork, and 5) self-development in peer support: professional development and self-care. In order to register for this training, you must have an active CPSP or CPRC I or II and have worked as a peer for at least one year. DMHA will offer 5 CEUs for Certified Peer Support Professionals who complete this training.
